I have seen you in many forms… a beloved one, as wife, as a daughter, and very often as a friend. In every form you have been a path finder, very encouraging, loving and caring.
In the fabulous mansion of the city, a marriage was going to take place. The atmosphere was full of gaiety and cheers. The entire mansion was lit up with lights and decorated with flowers. The soothing Shahnai (Clarinet) music was floating and had added to the charm of the function. And this was to happen. After all YOU were getting married.
At the scheduled time the marriage party arrived with band and dancing boys and girls. From the bride side there was total effort to make the event most memorable.
YOU were brought by your relatives and friends. YOU looked like an APSARA (Fairy) and were seated where the marriage rituals were to take place. Suddenly, a seven-year-old boy caught your hand and said, ‘I want to marry you’. You blushed crimson. And everyone laughed.
